Serious potholes on both sides of the road

We were driving yesterday from Grafton underwood crossroads and found it both difficult and dangerous to avoid the potholes on the roadside, particularly when traffic was coming in the opposite direction. There were a number of these potholes that were very deep and virtually impossible to avoid. I think they would also pose a very significant risk to cycles, many of whom use this route.in addition, to actually stop and give you the precise location of the potholes would be too dangerous as a result of traffic travelling in both directions around blind bends.
