Very large volume of water preventing safe access to my home

I live at 41 Queen Street, Geddington, Kettering, and moved into the property in January 2026. Since moving in, I have noticed that whenever there is moderate or heavy rainfall, a large volume of surface water collects at the bottom of my driveway, creating a substantial puddle that blocks access to and from my property. As this driveway provides the only access to my home, the flooding causes significant inconvenience and restricts safe entry and exit. I would be grateful if the drainage issue could be investigated and appropriate remedial action taken.

Investigation: Ongoing - Thank you for your enquiry. We can confirm that we have investigated the matter and found no blocked gullies within the area. As a result, we will be discussing potential alternative options with North Northamptonshire Council to help alleviate any future surface flooding. We will provide a further update once more information becomes available.
