Reported via mobile in the Restricted Visibility / Overgrown / Overhanging category anonymously at 10:38, Monday 18 May 2026

Sent to North Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 9468852.

Originally reported in January and although being promised it would be sorted the previous case has been closed. This needs addressing asap as is becoming dangerous obscuring vision when exiting driveway.

Overgrowth has been increasing up telegraph pole and onto nearby building for some time. It has now extended out to such an extent that it is restricting access for delivery vehicles to the rear entrance of Apple Tree Day Nursery, 161 High Street, Burton Latimer and also to a private dwelling of 167 High Street who share access of the driveway.

Tesco delivery have refused to deliver to nursery until the overgrowth has been removed. Nursery cannot operate without grocery deliveries.

  • The overgrowth is originating (rooting) from the footpath behind/next to the high street sign. As such I am assuming it is the responsibility of NNC? It is growing up the telegraph pole and also the garage which belongs to 163 High Street.
