Reported via desktop in the Slabs - Uneven / Damaged / Cracked category by North Northamptonshire Council at 07:25, Friday 1 May 2026

Sent to North Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 9382816.

Request description Dangerous footpath Tansfield Ave, Corby Responding to a post on FB regarding a parent who had been pushing their baby/ toddler in a buggy along Tansfield Avenue, Corby, when the wheel on the buggy caught in the uneven surface of the footpath, flipping the buggy, resulting in the young child receiving a cut/ graze to its forehead, having struck the ground. I have visited the location, described as the the left hand side of Tansfield Avenue, heading in the direction of Occupation Road, and at the junction with Westfield Road. The road there is uneven, top-layer broken, and further compounded by the significant movement caused by the visible tree roots of a well established large tree. The entire length of the path on this road is similar and must be a danger to those in wheelchairs, prams and those with mobility issues. This path's condition, does in my opinion, need addressed. I do have some additional images of the path, which are refusing to load to this report
