Culvert issues
Reported via desktop in the Blocked/Damaged category by Braybrooke Parish Council at 14:05, Tuesday 21 April 2026
Sent to North Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 9330552.
Member of the public has concerns regarding flooding at the crossroads, lawful repair works had been carried out to the existing agricultural field drains at Wheelers Farms. However, it appears that the highways culvert, which receives the water, may be blocked or inadequately sized, causing water to back up and flood the road at the crossroads and if left unresolved there is the potential of accidents happening.
The location of the culvert is beside the field where the drainage discharges.
