Pedestrian path not fit for purpose – narrowing, trip and slip hazard on Station Road

I’d like to report an issue with the pedestrian path along Station Road, particularly between Hetcham Way and Stanwick Road.
Over time, mud and grass have encroached onto the path, making it significantly narrower in places. Some sections are now too tight to pass through with a standard pushchair without going into the mud.
In these areas, pedestrians are forced to walk single file, which isn’t ideal, especially for parents with children, and makes it difficult to pass safely.
The current condition also creates a clear accessibility issue. If it’s difficult with a pushchair, it would be even more challenging for wheelchair users or mobility aids, with wheels being forced into mud and debris.
The surface itself is also very uneven and, in places, no longer fit for purpose given how busy this route is. The uneven surface presents a clear trip hazard, alongside the slip risk caused by the mud.
As this is a well-used route for school runs and access into town, there is a real risk of injury if this is not addressed.
While a full upgrade to this section would be ideal, as a first step, clearing the encroaching mud and reinstating the full width of the path would help improve the situation as a temporary measure.
Please could this be inspected and addressed as a priority?
