• The barriers can no longer stand up but the smashed post remains unattended to. The post is there to protect the corner of the building against being caught by reversing lorries. Evidently it has been caught once already so a full repair is urgently required

  It looks like a replacement plastic barrier has been erected this morning. Given that the original report was made back in February by somebody else siting safety issues, and subsequently followed up by me several times since March, this is hardly satisfactory. The original job to fix the concrete post and pavement was "misplaced" and only replaced by this when I called to query progress. The photos here show the post stump, new replacement plastic barrier and the damage to my home where it has evidently been hit by a lorry since the post was knocked over. I consider this to merit prioritising now to make a permanent repair urgently and will call to discuss.
