Enormous pothole amongst many on Lower road

Reported via mobile in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 08:15, Friday 13 March 2026

Sent to North Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 9098695.

This whole stretch of road is disintegrating it needs resurfacing. This particular pothole is over a meter long and at least 20cm deep. It is a single track road and there’s no way to avoid it. It’s lined with overhanging trees, some of which look very unstable too. It’s a nasty accident waiting to happen.

  • This has not been fixed. A bit of temporary filling was put in many weeks ago but it has not been done properly
