ROWs inaccessible

Reported via mobile in the Passage-Obstructed/Overgrown category anonymously at 22:19, Saturday 7 March 2026

Sent to North Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 9065629.

No access between ROW TL2 and TL3. The A45 sits between the two footpaths, with access to carriageway on both sides. However, access between them over carriageway is blocked due to crash barrier in central reservation - there is no provision for pedestrians over A45. Alternative access from TL2 is tresspassing up private drive which has private no public ROW on gates to road (close to TL24 entrance).

    State changed to: Investigating

  • Investigation: Completed (No Action Necessary) - We can confirm that the footpaths either side of the A45 are separate routes. These are also dead end routes which end at the point they meet the A45. It is correct there is no right of way up the private driveway and similarly there is no right of way across the A45 so therefore no crossing point is available for users.
