Deterioration of Paving – Kettering Town Centre
Reported via desktop in the Slabs - Uneven / Damaged / Cracked category anonymously at 14:19, Tuesday
Sent to North Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 9038066.
The paving in Kettering Town Centre, which was recently installed, has deteriorated rapidly. Although it appears to resemble block paving, it is in fact an imprinted surface treatment which is now breaking down and becoming uneven.
The current condition of the surface is presenting a potential hazard, particularly to pedestrians pushing buggies, users of mobility scooters, and elderly or infirm residents. The uneven and worn areas may increase the risk of trips or instability.
Photographs have been taken and can be provided to support this report.
