Road signs from kettering around to corby
Reported via mobile in the Road Markings - Worn/Faded category anonymously at 11:22, Thursday 29 January 2026
Sent to North Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 8793906.
The making on the road state you have to use the 4th lane coming on to the round about to go down the A43 towards corby. Lane 1 for A14 east Lane 2 A14 west Land 3 A14 west
On to the road about is changes to 3 lanes with 1&2 for A14 west and lane 3 for a43 corby.
As you go around to the A14 west exit there is nothing for them to move off and for the A43 land to move over so at this exit. Lane 1 and 2 become A43 and lane 3 becomes Telford and Kettering but at NO point has any one moved over.
Because of this people are using lanes 2&3 for the A43 (at the start) and then pushing the people in the correct line in to the wrong land.
The road markings are all backed up with sign posts but bad drives and lack of road markings to be about to move across is coursing accidents and road rage every day of the week.

Still open, via questionnaire -
Customer reports that the lack of road markings and unrepaired potholes have not been addressed. It is a busy junction and currently very dangerous.
