Parking 18 Desborough Road
Reported via desktop in the Verges - Damaged by Vehicles category anonymously at 11:38, Tuesday 20 January 2026
Sent to North Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 8727170.
Is there anything that can be done about the parking situation in this area. I have mobility issues and find it difficult to park anywhere near my property. I was advised by a neighbour to park by the garages at the back but this ground is too uneven for me to walk across it.

Investigation: Completed (No Action Necessary) - Thank you for your enquiry. We understand it can be difficult if you do not have designated private parking and have mobility concerns. Unfortunately, parking on the public highway cannot be designated to an individual and any road worthy vehicle is entitled to park on these bays near your property. In some cases we can offer blue badge holders white 'H-bar' markings that are advisory but highlight a need for disabled parking in an area, but these are subject to meeting criteria and being funded by individuals.
