Public footpath restricted
Reported via iOS in the Passage-Obstructed/Overgrown category anonymously at 10:00, Sat 27 December 2025
Sent to North Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 8593341.
This is a public footpath which leads to the Village of Apethorpe and has a path opening of around 10 feet but is has been reduced to less than 1 m if that because of the overgrown Hawthorne which has not been cut for many years. It means the area of the path turns into a very slippery mud path which is dangerous and also in the summer very hard to walk by because of the Bramble and Hawthorne which is overgrown.
