Water actively flowing into road

Sent to North Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 8574424.

I reported this recently was told it’s not a problem. I thought it was flooding but way is actively flowing down the road here. So it’s leaking from somewhere onto the road. On heavy rain days the water does encroach into the active carriageway.

  • The road is now starting to collapse in this area. A large pot hole is forming where the water flows into the road.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 180 days (26 weeks), however we are currently operating for completion to be within 90 days. Please be assured that you will receive an update once repairs are concluded.

  • There is still water flowing out of the side of the road and the road is starting to collapse. This issue is made worse by the run off from the farmer's fields to the NW side of the road which flows across the road near to this defect. The road have been closed twice in the last few weeks due to the flooding.
