Drain blocjed and flooded

Sent to North Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 8569211.

Every time it rains this drain floods and causes a river to flow down the street. Not raining now but drain is overflowing. Not the first time reporting this issue, nothing ever seems to be done to resolve this problem.

  • Once again the drain is flooded abd overflowing down Cardigan Road. This happens every time it rains

  • It's raining today, 15\01\2026. Water is coming up out of the drain causing a river to run along Cardigan road and then down Manor Road. This happens every time it rains.

  • River running down Cardigan Road, westward. Drain is overflowing and has never dried out since first reporting this.

  • The road under this flooding is breaking down with multiple potholes now. This drain is continuously overflowing, no other drains have this issue.

  • When will this drain be fixed? The drain is still overflowing and the road beneath the flooding water now has potholes. The water is coming up out of the drain.
