Traffic light not synchronised

Sent to North Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 8502646.

Green light should stay on for the primary road (Barton road) unless someone approach the junction from the less busy Cranford road or pedestrian crossing.However the lights often change to red for Barton road even there's no car coming from other direction and no pedestrians. Clearly the main traffic is Barton road. Before 6am the lights often change to red with no oncoming traffic coming from Cranford road ,making a lot car waiting on the red light approaching from Barton road
