Investigating
Intruding hedge and overgrown footpath
Reported via desktop in the Weeds category anonymously at 17:44, Wed 26 November 2025
Sent to North Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 8469204.
The footpath along this busy section of Kettering Rd Weldon is now only about 2 feet wide in places due to the fact that it has become overgrown with weeds / grass and the hedge has intruded. The hedge has widened by growing up from the roots away from the traditional hedge line and needs completely removing for 2 or 3 feet and the footpath scraped to reveal its full width. This situation has developed over the last 3 or 4 years due to lack of maintenance by Highways.
