Subsidence for c 20 meters of main road
Sent to North Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 8465333.
There is a c 20 meter stretch of subsidence on the road heading from Harborough to Sutton Basset. This has got a lot worse in the last 2 weeks and is now very dangerous. Cars are being forced into oncoming traffic on this very busy road.

I find it unbelievable that you cant find this subsidence!!!! This is in the exact location that i have given and the subsidence runs for c 20 meters on the road travelling from Harborough to Sutton (heading East). As perviously said, cars are having to swerve onto the opposite side of the road. I expect an URGENT' update given the time since i reported it.

I reported this problem over two weeks ago and i have had one email saying that you cant find it (if you don't go out and look then you wont be able to find it!!!). This is a serious hazard for all road users and needs urgent investigation. Please provide an update within the next 24 hours. Kind regards, Simon Grandidge.

I have reported this problem several times. On one communication you said you couldnt locate the problem. This was clearly not true as it was in the location that i provided and is clearly visible. No one likes to be lied to. Im a local Parish Councillor and Trust is extremely important. I've previously provided photographs so im not uploading more.

I first reported this problem on the 25 November 2025. Then again on the 2.12.,25, again on the 11.12.25 and again on the 24.12.25. You have only replied once (2.12.25). This is a large defect on a busy road that is forcing vehicles into incoming traffic. Should I become aware of an accident happening at this location, or damage to property, then i will be using these communications as evidence of your lack of due care.

If this wasn’t do serious it would be laughable!!!!!! I’m sending you numerous requests for updates which you are ignoring but you’re sending me emails asking if the problem has been fixed. Your Opps Director (or Equivalent) needs to take a serious look at your system!

I have still not received any updates and the problem is getting worse. The owner of the land adjacent to the road is now very concerned that an accident is iminent. I have just customerservices@northnorthants.gov.uk asking for an URGENT update and an investigation as to why my repeated requests are being ignored.
