Road markings worn in Station Road and Hogh Street in Rushton

Sent to North Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 8283895.

All of the road markings are worn on entry and exit to Rushton, Northants. Many people use the village to drive to Corby and do not obey the speed limit. Under the railway bridge the road markings in particular need attention to warn drivers to stop. An accident could happen

  • I misspelled High Street on the report. A mistake but it could make the report stand out!

  • If the speed limit is 20 MPH in Station Road, Rushton where the school is the road signs should be replaced and clearly state this. Unfortunately many drivers use the village as a rat run and do not obey the limit.

  • Thank you very much for confirming that work will commence within 28 days. Can you please clarify that all the worn out road markings in Station Road and High Street Rushton will be repainted? The priority are the markings approaching the bridge however all the others also do need repainting Thank you.
