RE: Footpath width

Reported via mobile in the Restricted Visibility / Overgrown / Overhanging category by Craig Blacha at 22:53, Fri 3 October 2025

Sent to North Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 8250276.

Warren hill from top of Gipsy Lane Kettering towards Kettering General Hospital turn off the width of the footpath would only allow 1 pedestrian to pass at a time forcing the other pedestrian to go onto the grass verge.

This footpath isn’t suitable for wheelchair users or adapted wheelchairs or pushchairs as it’s uneven due to tree roots in places and has become worn over many years.

It would be beneficial for some of the grass to be cut back off the footpath allowing wider access for all footpath users.
