Previous attempt at pothole repair been left uncomplete and dangerous
Sent to North Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 8152504.
A series of holes on this length of Rixon Road have been patched recently, however one on the side proceeding toward the Nest Lane island from the A510 junction has been left uncompleted such that a deep square edged hole right on the offside wheel line of a car is now opening. This impacts very hard if struck and will be causing damage.
To rub salt in the wound, in failing to complete the repair (and managing against the odds to leave things considerably worse with this defect than they were before the intervention), the word 'temporary' has been painted in yellow across the 'work' blacktop that was left. It would have been better to have painted 'negligent and dangerous'; absolutely dismal and completely unacceptable.
