Inadequate signage for road works

Sent to North Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 8068563.

There are a lot of people using the new slip road when the signs say works access only, the signs to say this are slightly obscured but still remain in place. Is this open for use or do the road workers need to enforce this closure better?

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found) - Thank you for your enquiry, we can confirm that after consulting with our contractor, the slip road is open however the hatched area is coned off for ongoing verge works and the signs stating Site Access are to show where our contractors are to enter site.
