One half of Collingwood Avenue is ridden with holes
Reported via mobile in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 17:27, Thu 7 August 2025
Sent to North Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 7994465.
Several months ago this road was closed for repair for a week. Residents thought hooray the entire road was going to be resurfaced! Unfortunately not the case… a few patchwork repairs on one part only. Now the other half from Howe Crescent to the top of Collingwood (Fotheringhay Road) is ridden. Some are extremely dangerous and close to the kerbs which is lethal for cyclists. The others are equally dreadful. They haven’t even been marked. The entire Collingwood needs resurfacing. It is extremely unsightly and resembles a patchwork quilt which is not acceptable workmanship and they burst open every few months!
