6cm + pothole and 3 very deep ones in the space of 200 metres

Reported via mobile in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 17:49, Wed 6 August 2025

Sent to North Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 7989130.

I was returning home along Glendon Road heading towards Rothwell when I hit a huge pothole/crater on the passenger side of the road. When I arrived home my front bumper was hanging off on the passenger side. I took my car to corby MOT centre yesterday who refitted the bumper and put my car on the ramp to check for any other damage. My front bumper is damaged underneath and my car is now pulling to the left so potentially needs retracking. The road is unsafe to stop on but I've managed to get a photo of the pothole from the passenger window while slowing down but I'm more than happy to show a council member the hole. It's roughly 6cm plus deep. There are actually 3 really deep potholes in a 200 metre stretch of that road. This road constantly has heavy goods and farm vehicles travelling along it which makes it near impossible to avoid potholes if they are travelling the opposite way.

I hope you can assist me in getting this resolved.
