Large pothole in passing place

Sent to North Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 7984973.

Single track road with passing places. One passing place ( travelling towards Desborough) has a very deep pothole approx half way along nearest the edge of the tarmac area. You can’t see if before pulling in to let oncoming traffic pass, and then the front passenger side wheel drops down the hole.

  • Location may be further along the road. It was about halfway between the turning from Harrington - and the first farm on the left as you go towards Desborough.

  • Investigation: Completed (Duplicate) - Thank you for your enquiry. We can confirm that we have been made aware of this issue and a works order has been raised on a routine safety inspection. These works are due to be completed by 14/01/2026 Please be assured that you will receive an update once repairs are concluded.
