A6 Finedon to Burton Latimer

Reported via mobile in the Temporary Traffic Lights category anonymously at 17:45, Tue 5 August 2025

Sent to North Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 7983836.

I am compelled to point out that the tail backs caused from the temporary traffic lights for the installation of the new traffic lights are an accident waiting to happen. The tail backs are reaching the two blind bends coming out of Finedon, causing vehicles to veer into the road to avoid crashing into the back of the each other. This needs immediate attention. Someone is going to get seriously hurt. This project should never have gotten this far. If the reason for installing the lights is for safety then I believe it will cause more harm than good.
