Weeds, uncut verges

The weeds left growing are destroying our new fence. The grass here has had one cut this year due to my partner calling about the same issue, yet all other grass verges in the area are regularly cut? I’ve filled my garden bin with weeds today and have no room left so the prickly trimmings are left on the verge. We have had the same issue a few years ago, when weeds were left for many years a tree grew as tall as the house completely destroying our fence, I will keep your weeds away as much as possible but don’t have the bin space anymore. I hope this simple issue can be finally resolved as in the last 10 years it hasn’t yet
