Overgrown tree branches to public land

Sent to North Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 7827709.

Previous report raised under ref 7253973. As per you information the work is now completed. But my issue pavement work is completed but the tree branches from the same tree over grown and hitting my window glass and frame. Also the branches are blocking my gutters. I would like the council to come and cut all the branches are over grown into my private land. This overgrown branches are causing damages to my property. Location of the tree Outside Rockingham News. Rockingham Road. Kettering.NN16 8LA. I would like the council to take immediate action on this work. otherwise I will take this matter further by seeking legal advise. Thank You.

  • Investigation: Completed (No Action Necessary), Defect Repair: Not Started - This tree has been inspected, it is physiologically healthy, structurally sound and clear of the footpath, highway and adjacent property. There is a common law right which permits a person (or their agent i.e. tree surgeon, gardener, etc) to prune back any growth of tree, shrub etc to the line of their boundary, e.g. fence line. No further action will be taken at this time.
