Obstructed view at junction
Reported via iOS in the Restricted Visibility category anonymously at 22:23, Sat 28 June 2025
Sent to North Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 7779301.
The base of the trees lining London Road have been allowed to spout and form large bushes, making it virtually impossible to see the traffic coming up London Road from town as you try to turn right out of Castle Street. You have to be pretty much in their path to see if they are there or not and several times I have had to emergency brake to prevent an accident. Please can you trim back all the little branches etc.

A local resident took matters into his own hands and trimmed back some parts of the growth but it wasn’t pruned as hard as is needed for a clear view of oncoming traffic.
