Footpath virtually blocked
Reported via desktop in the Restricted Visibility / Overgrown / Overhanging category by Cllr Dave Ward at 15:20, Wednesday 11 June 2025
Sent to North Northamptonshire Council 16 hours, 42 minutes later. ref: 7694646.
The trees and shrubs located at the junction of Gold St / Rothwell Rd, appear to have not been maintained for some time. This has resulted in overhanging branches over the footpath as well as the undergrowth virtually blocking the lower levels of the footpath alongside the main route through the town.
Also at the back of the "green patch" the trees and bushes are now upto the back of the homes in Gold Street, resulting in the occupiers needing lights on at all times as the natural daylight has been severely impacted.
