Drains and gullies are blocked

The drains and gullies opposite the Drill Hall car park on Benefield Road need cleaning. There is standing water (you can see in the photos) meaning this is blocked. It is not good enough that the council has already dismissed this by saying that it will be dealt with in its ‘cyclical programme’ and have closed the problem that had been reported. This row of cottages are prone to flooding (twice in the past 5 years) and should be a priority. We pay a lot of council tax and all the drains and gullies along this stretch of road should be cleaned monthly to prevent flooding happening again.
