Sent to North Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 7685119.

It’s unnecessary to park on the pavement in a manner that prevents pedestrians from passing, it is unclear who owns the car and all residents in this part of the street have off-road spaces.

  • Investigation: Completed (No Action Necessary) - Good morning, and apologies for the delay in replying as this report has only recently been directed to our team. Unfortunately we have no powers to issue penalties for obstruction of the footway, our enforcement teams can only enforce restrictions such as yellow lines or other parking restrictions. The Police have some powers with regard to obstruction of the path, so it may be worthwhile making them aware if this situation occurs again (or if the car is still there). Thank you for taking the time to make us aware of this incident.
