The right of way has been taped off by the landowner

Sent to North Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 7536739.

The landowner has put tape across the right of way and grown long grass across the line of the path. Please investigate and let me know whether this is an unauthorised obstruction of the right of way and if it is what action is being taken.

    The photos show the obstruction and one official way mark plus unofficial signage taking users along the track instead of turning onto the line of UG40.

  • Investigation: Completed (Reported to a third party) - We can confirm the tape is not obstructing the right of way, as it is not across the legal line. We will however contact the landowner to ensure the bridleway is marked out through the grass field.
