Degraded road

Sent to North Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 7532066.

The slip road used to enter and exit the Service Station has degraded. There are large and long pot holes. These potholes are impossible to manoeuvre around due to the line of parked HGV’s on the slip road narrowing the road to a one car width only.

  • Reported almost 2 months ago and nothing done! Cars and motorbikes avoiding potholes by zigzagging around parked vehicles (motorhomes, HGV’s etc as there is no dedicated parking spaces for such vehicles) and no yellow lines to prevent parking on the slip road. This is surely dangerous and I cannot understand how Highways are failing to progress this.

  • The potholes are getting worse and it’s impossible to avoid them because of the parked vehicles. Why this road is being allowed to deteriorate is beyond me.
