Faded SLOW marking on road

Sent to North Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 7436984.

The painted word SLOW has faded and is almost illegible. This is situated on the Peterborough Road leading into Warmington from the A605, near to the village gates.

  • As of today’s date, this has not been fixed. It is extremely faded and is on the road near to the ‘gates’ into Warmington.

    For info., there was a further reported, faded ‘SLOW’, on the same road near to the entrance to Dexter Way which has been fixed and which may be causing some confusion.

  • The word SLOW is an important road marking as there is a right hand bend shortly after this warning. The marking remains unpainted.
