Diversion

Sent to North Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 7119753.

Chelveston road has been closed for works by Anglian Water. The diversion is through Darcie Park estate, which is a new estate with unadopted roads. It is not able to cope with this amount of traffic, work vans, delivery trucks, Lorries. The road has become unbelievably busy! Why is the diversion through a residential new estate where children are out playing!

    Good afternoon. Thank you for your enquiry. The road closure and diversion was unauthorised by the highways authority. Anglian Water have been informed they must stop works and reinstate the highway. Any further queries please contact Anglian Water
