Diversion

Sent to North Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 7119503.

Chelveston road has closed for works by Anglian Water. They have set the diversion through Darcie Park Estate which is a new estate with unadopted roads and totally not able to cope with the traffic and the lorries. We were told this wouldn't happen and like previous road closers diverted via stanwick. I am the local town cllr cllr.billcross@yahoo.com. can you please look in to this

    Good afternoon. Thank you for your enquiry. The road closure and diversion was unauthorised by the highways authority. Anglian Water have been informed they must stop works and reinstate the highway. Any further queries please contact Anglian Water
