Pedestrian crossing button not working. Safety issue of red lights being ignored

Reported via desktop in the Pushbutton Not Working category anonymously at 17:04, Monday 10 February 2025

Sent to North Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 7114077.

Main issue is the total disregard for pedestrian safety, shown by a growing number of drivers. Over the past 4 days I have been trying to cross when the green man is lit and despite one lane of traffic stopping at the red lights, I have experienced 4 cars drive through whilst it is on red. There has been at least one fatality previously on this crossing and I am very concerned that it is only a matter of time before there is another
