Road marking invisible towards A14 roundabout

Sent to North Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 7102783.

No working cats eyes or road markings visible on southbound carriageway at night (after new roundabout) - oncoming traffic was crossing centre line. Whole road quite muddy.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found) - Thank you for your enquiry, we can confirm that the condition of the Cats eye's and road markings aren't the issue and the recent works taking place is dragging mud onto the highway. To resolve this they have agreed to sweep this section to allow the markings to be visible for safety of drivers.
