The developers of Handwood Park have repeatedly obtained temporary closure orders of Footpaths VD11, GF19 and GF8 since 08/11/2017. The last order for 3 years was obtained from the Secretary of State. These orders have expired and the rights of way must be returned. Handwood Park is set to be developed for the next decade and should not be allowed to keep footpaths closed. Ramblers Association Local Footpath Secretary
