Large area of paving stones replaced with tarmac

Some time ago a large area of the black pavers in Kettering High Street were removed for some reason and replaced with tarmac. Now the section does not reflect the website listing here - https://www.northnorthants.gov.uk/ business-support/ strategic-projects-growth-and-regeneration/ kettering-high-street

Investigation: Completed (No Action Necessary) - Thank you for your enquiry, we can confirm that we have works scheduled to replace this tarmac with paving slabs, and the use of tarmac was to prevent any safety issues to occur.
