Drain Almost Overflowing

Reported via desktop in the Blocked/Damaged category anonymously at 12:26, Saturday 18 January 2025

Sent to North Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 6998168.

This drain is full to the point of almost overflowing. The next drain to the North is completely empty. The next drain to the South has water in it.

Although not yet an "emergency" this does appear to be causing water to back up from the gutter area at the front of my property.

Noticed the issue approximately 14th January '24/

  • Spoke to Hub who will refer to a manager. Mr Ian Gunn (customer) advised the water is across the path although this is not seen in the picture. The drain pipe from the house (number 84) is blocked and relates to the blocked run off drain as seen in the pictures, the water from the down pipe is coming up on the driveway and pavement - see picture added by Mr Gunn.

  • Water has backed up along the system and is causing the downpipe on my property to overflow from the ground. This is flowing across the path and down the road to the blocked drain
