Excess gravel remaining on the road since roadworks

Sent to North Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 6984467.

The entire length of Stingers Hill/Orlingbury Road still has an excessive amount of gravel since the roadworks were completed last year. It seems as if the road hasn’t been swept to complete the redress. As a motorcyclist I have had to stop using this road as it is extremely dangerous in all conditions.

A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location, and we can confirm that in accordance with the NNC Highways Inspection Manual, this defect does not meet the investigatory levels for a repair. We will continue to monitor the condition as part of our routine highway inspection schedule. Should you notice the defect worsening, please inform us by raising a new Fixmystreet enquiry.
