Ice on footpath
Reported via mobile in the Icy Footpath category anonymously at 17:15, Saturday 11 January 2025
Sent to North Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 6965647.
Persistent water leak at 65 Ennerdale Road that has been ongoing for over a year. The continuous flow of water across the footpath has led to the formation of ice during cold weather, creating a hazardous situation for pedestrians, particularly for elderly residents in the area, some of whom use wheelchairs.
Despite numerous reports regarding this issue, no significant action has been taken to resolve it. The hazardous conditions created by the ice pose a serious safety risk, and it is imperative that this matter is addressed urgently to prevent potential accidents and injuries.
I kindly request that the relevant authorities investigate this matter and take prompt action to repair the leak and ensure the safety of our community.
