Sent to North Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 6768873.

Drains blocked outside 23 Compton Way. Water is struggling to disperse and is stagnant, causing the drain to smell. Causing flooding during wet weather. Has previously been investigated by Anglian Water, who has referred to yourselves.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the NNC Highways Inspection Manual, the flooding has been assessed and requires a Priority 4 response. We will schedule drainage investigation work to be completed within 26 weeks. When the investigation has been completed, we will inform you of our findings and course of action. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 is 133 days.

  • Due to heavy rainfall this has once again flooded my garden and water ingressing into my garage/property.

  • The water that is not training away is at the rear of the properties so it's presumed their maybe a blockage on the highway drain.

  • Customer advises that the drain is still blocked and has not yet been cleared. There is possible sewerage / waste coming into property grounds. He would like an update please regarding the defect. Could you please contact Marshall to discuss
