Pothole in road between Osbornes and LAD shops

I crossed the road in the High Street today and had a nasty fall whilst crossing to go into a shop as a result of the pothole in the road. I am a pensioner and hurt my knee and hands and was somewhat shocked and winded. The lady in the shop saw this wnd remarked that I was not the first to have taken a tumble at this point as a result of the poor state of the road. From the opposite side of the road it is not so visible to the innocent pedestrian. Please sort before someone is badly hurt.
