Overgrown hedge

Reported via mobile in the Restricted Visibility / Overgrown / Overhanging category anonymously at 15:48, Mon 28 October 2024

Sent to North Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 6668303.

Poor visibility. Dangerous to pull out in vehicles due to restricted views. Pathway is compromised so mobility equipment users and pushchair users go onto traffic to pass. The hedge as overgrown it's boundary line drastically as can be seen from where the wall is. The council needs to resolve this issue with the occupier promptly before a serious incident occurs. A formal complaint will be made to the local MP aswell to speed up a resolution.

  • North Northants council do not care for the disabled community trying to access the pathway with mobility aids. There absolutely disgusting in not contacting the owner of said hedge to ask them to cut it back to their boundary line so residents can use the public footpath. Utter disgrace and so quick to take our tax money yet not do the work.
