Spring causing a swamp

Reported via mobile in the Bridge-Damaged/ Missing category anonymously at 18:46, Fri 25 October 2024

Sent to North Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 6659487.

Walking north before reaching barn is a spring/rivulet. A plank has been placed in the middle to help you cross but a line of at least three would be needed. I would have to say crossing here is a health and safety issue. I foolishly attempted it and got stuck to me knees and sinking. The mud was sucking my boots off as I attempted to get my feet unstuck, and was lucky to have walking sticks to keep my balance. if the path is to keep to the official line some kind of bridge/crossing is needed.
