Road markings have virtually disappeared

Sent to North Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 6625071.

Road markings on roundabout have completely disappeared causing serious road safety hazard with vehicles including HGVs entering other lanes. Potentially deadly for cyclists and motorcyclists.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the NNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 3 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 28 days. Our current average response time for a Priority 3 repair is 14.3 days.

  • Is there any update on when the lines will be repainted as more have now disappeared? It has now been longer than the time you suggested they would be. This situation continues to cause a serious safety hazard.
