Growing Pothole - now 30"L x 18"W near to school entrance

The pothole is growing in size and deteriorating rapidly. Since the photo's were taken last week the hole now extends to the black tarmac area. The pothole is throwing debris onto the path which is a main access route to the school causing a H&S issue - particularly if cars are driving past at the time children are leaving/coming to school.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the NNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 3 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 28 days. Our current average response time for a Priority 3 repair is 14.3 days.
